GROWING MY NATURAL FORMATIONS: A sandscape erupts into a silica vessel that oozes ceramic glazes which fuse, melt, and crystallize. In the center, hot rocks fume under a glass lake and release salt gases that cause the liquid surface to swell into a sparkling dome. The finished work is a fossilized imprint of many processes that contains a living dimension.
